Students of Red Cedar Elementary are able to arrive to school as early as 7:45am, school begins at 8:30am and dismissal is at 3:30pm. All students are required to wear school uniforms. Parents and other visitors are required to sign in at the main office with a photo ID when going into the school. Red Cedar’s mascot is a red fox and the school’s motto is whatever it takes.
Red Cedar Elementary School provide each student with an opportunity to have a healthy breakfast and lunch. Students breakfast choices on certain mornings are Sausage Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Cereal, Strawberry yogurt, cinnamon roll, Cheesy grits, Scrambled eggs, Chicken biscuit and french toast sticks. All breakfast meals come with either a fruit cup or piece of fruit and juice. The lunch items are popcorn chicken, hamburger, chef salad, PB & J Sandwich, chicken nuggets, chicken quesadilla just to name a few. All lunch meals are served with vegetables,fruit and a choice of milk. Parents are allowed to pay for meals online where the money is deposited on the child’s account.

Students have an opportunity be involved in activities and clubs before and after school. Red Cedar Elementary School has the following clubs: Foxes rock drum & Dance Team, Drawing Club, Robotics Club, Foxes score sports club, foxes trot running club, red cedar elementary honors choir. In addition to all these outstanding clubs the school also has a student publish newspaper the Red Cedar Gazette.
Red Cedar also has an amazing E-library where students are able check books out on their ipads and mini ipads and are able to have a virtual conversation with other who are either reading the book or those who have read the book.
Students at Red Cedar Elementary are encourage to learn in the technology age, each student is given the attention they require.
